Like every Super Soul Sunday, they delved into their spiritual side. The two discussed ideas of God, tribes, the density of human beings and seeking truth, before parlaying into “we are all one.” The Drag Race superstar’s mantra, ¨we’re all born naked and the rest is drag¨ is what Oprah calls your spiritual bodysuit.
Drag is just another form of expression.
Rupaul suggests that Drag is one way to draw attention to what we understand as truth.
“If you have the power to control how people see you and interpret you, why not use it.”
Pearls of wisdom come from both sides. An overall message of laugh, be kind, and don’t take yourself so seriously overarches everything. While a greater part of 45 minutes is spent talking about how we are all one, the true souls of both these people know that is all about the money. As Charles’ mom used to say,
“If they are not paying your bills, you pay them no mind.”
